What's on at the Edinburgh Fringe on Tuesday, 4 August 2026

70 shows in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026 programme have performances on Tuesday, 4 August 2026.

Most Fringe shows run under an hour and start on the hour, so a comfortable day is four or five with 30 to 60 minutes between them depending on how far apart the venues are.

Tickets are still on sale centrally for a good part of the day's programme, but the popular rooms go early — the Show Radar page tracks which.
