Vienna’s leading violinist Wolfgang David joins award-winning American composer/pianist David Gompper in a captivating programme of fairytale-inspired music. The programme features Prokofiev’s magical sound world alongside the beloved Hungarian and Slavonic Dances by Brahms and Dvorák, creating a journey rich in color, rhythm and imagination. Wolfgang David performs regularly in the world’s most renowned concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, Musikverein, Suntory Hall and Wigmore Hall. David Gompper, recipient of the celebrated Guggenheim Fellowship, brings his own artistic perspective, offering a personal interpretation of the storytelling tradition. An enchanting experience of imagination, lyricism and virtuosic brilliance.
