About this show
Following the success of Tweedy's Massive Circus, Tweedy the Clown makes his festival debut with this joyful solo show for all ages. Tweedy finds himself battling mischievous props in a series of increasingly absurd situations, but however chaotic things become Tweedy can always find a creative way to get out – much to the delight of audiences young and old. Described by The Guardian as 'a loveable lark from start to finish'. Expect physical comedy, visual gags and an unexpected encounter with AI.

I think it’s easy to see from the above that I’m a fan, but I’ll say this: as someone who grew up watching Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, Tweedy echoes something forgotten.

Tweedy produces magic from a scrappy stage set of household objects: a dustpan gobbles a handful of props and his shoe keeps disappearing and turning up in impossible places.
