About this show
Prepare for the end... If you can afford it. Kaia and Adam win a bizarre lottery and move into The Pod – a doomsday bunker that might jettison into space when the world ends in eight minutes and 19 seconds. Unless it doesn't, in which case the countdown will reset until it does finally end! The Pod is an LGBTQIA+ led absurd comedy play about grief, the state of the world and the importance of human connection.

There are 2 - 3 steps in the Pend then a narrow staircase inside the space. The audience enters at the rear of the raked auditorium. Stairs: 6 - 10 Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

The end of the world is going to happen in eight minutes… or thereabouts. Maybe in another eight minutes. Maybe this is all a screwed-up torture chamber instead of an escape pod.
