Miriam's son has been on death row for 22 years. At midnight the state will execute him. His last request: his mother's apple pie. As Miriam bakes the perfect pie, this extraordinarily powerful and deeply compassionate one-woman play by Jennifer Fawcett invites us to reflect on the impact of violent crime on its hidden victims. There are 2 - 3 steps in the Pend then a narrow staircase inside the space. The audience enters at the rear of the raked auditorium. Stairs: 6 - 10 Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

Miriam (Edie Campbell) loves to bake pie, apple pie to be exact with the apples from the tree in her garden that she lovingly nurtured to ensure that the apples in her pie were of the best quality.
A must-see: a stunning performance in a powerful, unflinching play.
The whole play was an emotional experience, because of the excellent writing, direction, performance, but also the staging, all fed in to it.
