About this show
Millennials like Jean grew up with Britney Spears. Over the course of an hour see how the princess of pop influenced Jean's life and how the connections shared between them lead to an unbelievable moment of self-discovery. Inspired by the #FreeBritney movement, the 2022 WhatsOnStage Award-nominated hit off-Broadway production is back to take an hilarious and heart-breaking look at celebrity obsession, sexuality and growing up in the early noughties: featuring more nostalgia than you can shake a Tamagochi at! Jean is eight years old when she first hears the opening bars of “Baby One More Time”. She’s immediately transfixed, and the more she finds out about Britney Jean Spears, the more she can relate to her.
Saving Britney is a warm, nostalgic and touching celebration of girlhood and embracing your identity.
