About this show
It seems hate is the sole domain of the far right, and Sami asks – can people who care start hating again? Can hate help us? And most importantly – can hate be funny? Award-winning comedian, clown and very silly man, Sami Abu Wardeh, returns with a chaotic exploration of the value of hate today. 'The rockstar voice of the Palestinian diaspora' (Alexei Sayle). 'Defiantly goofy' * (Guardian). 'A virtuoso display' * Rolling Stone. 'A rare exception' (Chortle.co.uk).

What the reviewers said
We have captured 5 published reviews and 7 audience reviews for this show from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe’s own listing. The excerpts below are the reviewers’ words, not ours — follow each link for the full review.
Clowning for Sami Abu Wardeh has often been about more than generating laughter, as was evident in his sharp, funny historical stroll from the 1848 European Revolutions to the recent Palestinian struggles depicted in…
Sami Abu Wardeh comes on stage with a frenetic energy that he is admiringly able to maintain throughout the show.
Sami Abu Wardeh disorientates us with a silly, joyful, mesmerising opening where he creates his own entrance music. The Palestinian comedian was raised part Catholic, part Islamic — depending on when holidays fell.
