About this show
A new play based on the extraordinary true story of Ireland's most famous unidentified man, the so-called Peter Bergmann. He spent three days in Sligo mysteriously erasing his identity and was later found on a lonely shoreline. Told through the eyes of an embalmer who is in a race against time to cement his own legacy, it is a spellbinding and comic tale exploring legacy, reputation and what it is to live close to death. One of the great modern mysteries, brought to you by the multi award-winning Nth Degree Productions. 'Unforgettable' (Advertiser, Galway).

What the reviewers said
We have captured 6 published reviews and 19 audience reviews for this show from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe’s own listing. The excerpts below are the reviewers’ words, not ours — follow each link for the full review.
Most of this story is fictional, but this much of it is true: in 2009 a mysterious man travelled to a small town in Ireland, and somehow went into the sea.
The dialogue is rich and full of emotion and humour. This particular play is full of spoilers, which makes reviewing more of a challenge. Another unique play which is available at this year’s Fringe.
