Max is the Mayor of Idyllwild, California. He's also a golden retriever. Follow a UK playwright as he travels to a USA mountain town for the singular purpose of meeting their four-legged leader. Together, they have one goal: peace on Earth! This eccentric documentary-theatre show charts the impossible-to-believe rise to office of one unlikely underdog who has become a symbol of community, healing and unconditional love.
