About this show
Lucas Jefcoate is putting the performer in performative male. He's desperate in a nonchalant kind of way to show you what he's got (anxiety). When it comes to attention you can't have too much of a good thing; and Lucas needs a lot. The ginger, Gen Z sweetheart shares 25 years of experience and trauma in his debut comedy hour. If you've ever wondered why men love history, who built the pyramids or what's love got to do with it? Then please, indulge him. Hastings New Comedian of the Year Winner.

Lucas Jeffcoate opens to a room of five people. One more joins us (warmly welcomed) and, to be honest, Lucas Jeffcoate with what he delivers he deserves this room to be busting. 4 Stars
It is a funny and likeable performance, though it does not always feel particularly hard-hitting.

For all of his concerns and insecurities, and they are legion, he actually comes across as pretty balanced and amiable, not the poster boy for masculinity in crisis.
