About this show
Acclaimed Canadian Second City comedy duo, Matt Baram and Naomi Snieckus, directed by genius collaborator Kat Sandler, bring their signature mix of storytelling and improvisation to Big Stuff – a hilarious and heartfelt exploration of the stuff we leave behind. This fast-paced two-hander unpacks the emotional and absurd aspects of loss – from basement clutter to memories that linger. With quick wit and sharp chemistry, Baram and Snieckus turn life's big questions into big laughs. Supported by the Beaverbrook Canadian Foundation and High Commission of Canada as part of Spotlight Canada 2026.

What the reviewers said
We have captured 8 published reviews and 57 audience reviews for this show from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe’s own listing. The excerpts below are the reviewers’ words, not ours — follow each link for the full review.
Warm, funny and deftly played, Big Stuff finds considerable weight in apparently worthless things. What happens next is harder: deciding what to keep, what to let go and what stays with us anyway.
— Edinburgh Guide (4 out of 5 stars)
Matt Baram and Naomi Snieckus, a professional comic duo, are also a married couple who have polar opposite attitudes toward…stuff: She wants to keep stuff; he wants to throw stuff out.
— New York Theater (4 out of 5 stars)
3.5 stars Stuff. Love it or hate it, we’re all surrounded by it; it’s just the way we deal with it that differs. How about you?
