About this show
Your favourite movies translated badly. Each night, we take a different classic film script, run it through an online translator a dozen times and then read the results live on stage in character! The final twist is that the guest stars read the scripts on stage for the first time. To get the most enjoyment, we recommend you watch the film beforehand. 4.5 Stars. a wonderful show that will entertain you while showcasing a variety of talents at the festival
Take a film script, run it back and forth through a translator umpteen times and then take the garbled mess that it spits back out and read it out on stage in front of an audience.
The show relies on its simple and absurd humour rather than witty or complex jokes, however I think that’s what makes it even more brilliant as the niche concept is balanced out with accessible comedy.
