About this show
Following acclaimed and widely discussed presentations at the Traverse Theatre, Abbey Theatre, Latitude Festival and Scottish Parliament, Locker Room Talk returns ten years after its original premiere. Co-created by Gary McNair and Orla O'Loughlin, this provocative verbatim work draws on real conversations with men from a wide range of backgrounds, performed by a cast of women. Funny, uncomfortable, absurd and revealing in equal measure, the production explores the contradictions, assumptions and attitudes that emerge in everyday conversations between men. Locker Room Talk invites audiences to revisit the work a decade on and ask: what has really changed?

It’s a clear, confident performance illustrating some of the toxic talk taking place in lads-only company. The audience laughed a few times, though not as often as the characters on the stage.
