About this show
An antidote to the crisis of masculinity we're having in our culture, but make it funny and dance-y and a little bit silly. It’s enough to make a grown man cry. Based on the performers' own teenage diary entries, lit cinematically with handheld lights and energised with bursts of dance, this is theatre at its rawest and most exciting. Three cultures. Three birthdays. Three soon-to-be men. And one night that'll change each of them forever. By Alfie Wickham, Kai Porter and Noah Manzoor.

Full of reminders about the chaos and beauty in both comedy and life, Heart Beats Strong is a must see at this year’s Fringe due to its personable and one-of-a-kind nature.

Heart Beats Strong is a brave, bold and important piece which can only help young audiences realise they are not alone, and not weird.
