About this show
Best Show nominee 2024/25 (Edinburgh ISH Awards). The Scottish hotshot returns with a show about good intentions, bad timing and constantly putting his foot in it. An engaging and gifted storyteller, expect class clashes, romantic disasters and the familiar feeling of trying to do the right thing, and rarely succeeding. Hilarious and painfully relatable; join this hotly tipped master of stand-up as he unashamedly revels in saying exactly the wrong thing at precisely the wrong moment. 'Naturally adept; gales of laughter... bulldozering skill' (Comedy.co.uk). 'As good as any... innate storytelling skill, naturally funny' (Chortle.co.uk).

Pint in hand, oozing with confidence, Gareth Mutch is at home on stage and provides an hour of dependable laughter which comes, more often than not, at his own expense.
3,5 Stars. Gareth Mutch Means Well is a funny, polished, and warmly self-deprecating hour of traditional stand-up.
4.5 Stars Mutch is a confident erudite performer, always presenting finely honed material that is wildly funny, yet able to riff like the best, if the opportunity presents itself. He is always a safe pair of hands.
