About this show
Frankie Thompson collects horrible things. Things from down the back of the sofa and floating in her soup, things from the bins of people in power. From x-raying your mum's daydreams and interviewing the walls of your dad's shed (you don't want to know), to things your uncle uploaded on YouTube in 2008 (you really don't want to know). Find out if something horrible you've done is included, and come to the formal presentation of all horrible things thus far. If you laugh it's comedy, if you don't it's performance art. 'Wonderfully, confoundingly funny' (Guardian).

device of directly narrating the action often neatly served to keep the plot on track, however, and the story was resolved in a satisfying way that effectively tied up all the loose threads.
Thompson nevertheless remains compelling when individual items do not. Her expressive physicality and complete commitment hold together material that has almost nothing else in common, creating a performance language…
— Broadway Baby (4 out of 5 stars)
Whatever you might anticipate or think of this show, it cannot be argued that Thompson is an incredible performer with an infectious energy that keeps audiences on their toes.
