About this show

The combination of piano and guitar is a hidden tradition and legacy of mainstream musical history. A colourful, rich and varied hour of delightful and rewarding music. This established, experienced duo perform their brand-new programme. Music from across Europe, Mexico, and with an influence of Ragtime! The Divertimento Op. 38 by the early Austro-German Romantic, Carl Maria von Weber. Sonata by classical form and folk music inspired master Manuel Maria Ponce. Ronda by the Spanish composer Xavier Turull (in memory of Manuel de Falla) and Ragtime by the late 20th-century composer Karl Heinz Fussl.
