About this show
Take the "fun" out of "funeral" and throw the rest away! Zoe W is holding a funeral for her childhood dog, and you're invited! Yay! Dressed in Victorian mourning garb and ready to cry on command, she'll teach you how to properly perform your grief. All she wants is your sympathy, your tears and a goddamn glass of wine (please). Sadness is Zoe's passion and this dog was Zoe's best friend. It's gonna be a rough one, so join the solemn ceremony and pay your respects with the good boys (may they rest in peace).

What the reviewers said
We have captured 4 published reviews and 29 audience reviews for this show from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe’s own listing. The excerpts below are the reviewers’ words, not ours — follow each link for the full review.
Dog Funeral is utter madness. Not for the faint hearted in more ways than one or the shy and introverted, this unique and intense show has the comical shock factor, but finishes on a beautiful note.
— Get The Chance (4 out of 5 stars)
It’s very hard to award stars to this show. Wohlfeld does an excellent job of playing an utterly repellent character, and she does manage to stay on the very precipice of alienating the audience, without tipping over.
— one4review (3 out of 5 stars)
What I can say is that Wohlfeld understands how to use audience participation as part of the comedy rather than simply as a gimmick.
