About this show
Come and enjoy the Fringe debut of a local indie-folk duo. Gareth Overton is an award-winning songwriter whose delicate melodies and candid lyrics soothe all the tender spots. Lorraine McCann writes catchy earworms and has a nice line in stage banter. Together they've created an engaging sound in which warm, close harmonies marry with guitar, piano and trumpet (yes, trumpet), reflecting on life's ups and downs while getting your foot tapping. Spend an hour with Overton & McCann and you'll feel like you've found kindred spirits, as well as songs and stories to take home.
