About this show

In this clowny, crafty, physical theatre experience, a troupe of kobolds – small, lizard-like creatures from myth and tabletop gaming lore – stumble through a world of swords and sorcery, dragging you (lovingly) along for the ride. While the tales of epic heroes and dastardly villains unfold around them, the kobolds must tackle challenges like opening doors, defending their cheese from mice, and surviving their own shenanigans. These cannon-fodder sidekicks are looking to claim the limelight for themselves... by any means necessary.

What the reviewers said

We have captured 3 published reviews and 16 audience reviews for this show from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe’s own listing. The excerpts below are the reviewers’ words, not ours — follow each link for the full review.

  • A Kobold is a creature popular in the tabletop game “Dungeons and Dragons”. They are reptilian humanoids whose ancestry are dragons.

    Tony Loves The Fringe

  • This show is very ‘spirit of the fringe’. It’s fun, it’s creative, it’s clever, and you’d need a heart of stone not to enjoy the presence of five little Kobolds being very brave and doing very clever, if ill-advised…

Starburst Magazine (4 out of 5 stars)

  • The show balances with skill the inherent selfishness and paradoxical need for community that we can all relate to, mixed in with the laughs. An impressive job.

Broadway World (4 out of 5 stars)
