About this show
Megan and Deborah live alone on their farm in the Yorkshire Dales. What was once their home has now become their only refuge from an increasingly dangerous outside world. They have their farm, their food and each other. But when their fragile harmony is sent into a dark, downward spiral, the cost of survival is chillingly laid bare. Kitchen sink drama meets post-apocalyptic horror, The Hunger is about morality and motherhood at the end of the world.

"The two performers pour absolutely everything (and more) into this psychological thriller, which has you on the edge of your seat from the very start and does not let go until the closing moments.
Deborah (Susan Jayne Robinson) and her daughter Megan (Hollie Burgess) live on their pig farm, once an independent and isolated business, now a seemingly last haven in a post-apocalyptic hellscape.
A Yorkshire farm, a mother and daughter, self-sustaining living. It sounds idyllic, right? Well, not in this production. In The Hunger, Megan and Deborah live on their pig farm and try to survive – day in, day out.
