Edinburgh might think she’s a cut above her grubbier Glaswegian sister, but she forgets her own dodgy past… The whiff of scandal and chamber pots is everywhere. No wonder the curtains twitch. Behind them you’ll find world-class courtesans, bonking bankers and outdoor sex parties. Yes, in Scotland. Brave, given the weather. That’s the funny thing about history… it’s funny.

- Venue notes: Accessible entry: Stand 4 is accessible from the pavement with steps leading to a courtyard. The venue is situated in the basement part of the building. There are 15 steps in total with a 90 degree turn on a stone staircase with handrails. Once inside the venue, it is level access to stand 4 with a right turn. Staff are always available to assist, however we cannot help to carry customers. Stairs: 11- 20 Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.
