About this show
Jazz, folk and dance music have long inspired classical composers, and this programme explores some of those connections through works by Ravel, Dvorák and Gershwin. This rhythmic and colourful hour of music, performed by violinist Bríona Mannion and pianist Tim Rumsey, moves between blues melodies, dance rhythms and moments of virtuosity in the intimate setting of St Vincent’s Chapel.
