About this show

Midnight. Euan sits alone, his mother’s eulogy lies unwritten. As he and Isla start to piece together his mother’s life, Euan learns more about his own. This musical is an honest exploration of what makes a life worth living and the stories we end up telling, accompanied by a score inspired by Hadestown and The Last Five Years. Can the tides of time resolve unanswered questions of the past, present and future, and will Euan come to see how the tales from the shoreline have shaped his own life? Previous work: ‘Impactful and emotional’ (TheOxfordBlue.co.uk).

  • The questions the musical asks are not always the ones you expect, which pleasantly catches you off-guard.

Luvvie with a Rollaboard (3 out of 5 stars)

  • For emerging theatre-makers, there is often an expectation that every project must be everything at once. Commercial but artistic. Personal but universal. Experimental but accessible.

Kris Hallett- life as theatre (3 out of 5 stars)

  • 3.5 stars Its songs are simple without feeling over-simplified, full of rich imagery, speckled here and there with literary references, and performed beautifully by the cast.
