Inspired by the rousing true story of New York City’s newsboys, Newsies JR. features a Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman, with a book by Harvey Fierstein. When publishers raise prices at the boys’ expense, charismatic Jack Kelly rallies the newsies to strike. United in courage and friendship, they discover their strength together.
