About this show
Jed Grimes is a veteran musician with a rich history in the folk music scene of North-East England. He's a two-times BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominee. Founder member of the influential folk-rock group Hedgehog Pie, which achieved significant success in the 1970s and 80s. Jed has also been part of various projects, including the Doonan Family Band, Dust On The Needle and The Hush, which all showcase his versatility in blending traditional folk with other genres. Jed is known for entertaining with his soulful voice, his sometimes flamboyant guitar playing and storytelling through music.
