About this show
One of Scotland's foremost folksingers, Iona Fyfe showcases her passion for the Scots language through traditional repertoire, translations and self-penned songs. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Iona has toured extensively in the UK, Europe, Australia and the USA. A fierce advocate for the official recognition of the Scots Language, Iona led a successful campaign to pressure Spotify into recognising Scots and add it to their registry of languages. Two-time winner of Scots Singer of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards, Iona presents a solo vocal and piano show.
