In Conversation with Ian Rankin explores the career of the multi-million copy bestselling author behind John Rebus. His novels, translated into 36 languages, have been adapted for radio, stage and screen, and earned major honours including multiple Crime Writers' Association Dagger Awards, the Edgar Award, and the Deutscher Krimipreis. Rankin is a Fellow of both The Royal Society of Edinburgh and The Royal Society of Literature, and received an OBE for services to literature.

  • Venue notes: Accessible entry: Stand 3 is accessible from the pavement with steps leading to a courtyard. The venue is situated in the basement part of the building. There are 15 steps in total with a 90 degree turn on a stone staircase with handrails. Once inside the Stand 3 has a further 3 steps indoors before leading to the main space. Staff are always available to assist, however we cannot help to carry customers. Stairs: 11- 20 Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.
