About this show

Hamlet’s mom has got it going on... Claudius killed Hamlet's dad, married mum, and nicked the throne – what’s an angsty royal teen to do? Find out, with a little help from Sinatra and Spears, the Killers and Kanye, ABBA, Gaga, Queen and Wicked. The world's greatest tragedy, retold through cleverly stupid parodies, riotous comedy and tatty cardboard props! Something is rockin’ in the state of Denmark! Praise for previous shows: 'Laugh-out-loud' (BroadwayWorld.com). 'Psychotically upbeat' (TheWeeReview.com). 'Rip-roaring' (Everything-Theatre.co.uk). 'A raucous romp' (SpeakTheSpeech.blog).

  • The young cast’s enthusiasm is irresistible – an almost full house were engaged throughout. Particular highlights are the pop rap gravediggers, and the final Norwegian takeover, but the whole package is fun, frantic…
