About this show
Wafa moved to the UK expecting high tea, red telephone boxes and Jude Law. Instead, she found herself a fish out of water in the strange land of Belfast. Join her as she tries to make sense of how her life went from big dreams to school runs, small talk and a permanent state of confusion. Fresh Off the Boat is a sharp, playful take on immigration, identity, motherhood and everyday culture shocks – Wafa is here to take your job. Especially if you’re a software engineer... or an open mic comedian.
