About this show

50 minutes of joyous, colourful music by Thomas Erskine (an Overture in three movements by The Edinburgh Mozart) and Sir Edward Elgar (Introduction and Allegro by The Worcestershire Lad), performed by an advanced-level ensemble of amateur musicians (woodwinds and horns) with conductor and arranger Laurence Perkins. Enjoy this glorious life-enhancing classical music in the beautiful interior and acoustics of Canongate Church (on the Royal Mile). This 50-minute concert supports UK-Med and their amazing medical aid for survivors in Ukraine and other war zones and natural disasters.
