3.5 Stars. It is fair to say I have never seen a Fringe show have a room fill up so quickly in such a large venue. Produced by Captivate Theatre, this Fringe premiere of Dear Evan Hansen is one to truly spectate.
Captivate are by now remarkably reliable Fringe operators. Their productions arrive polished, confidently staged and, crucially for musical theatre, sounding excellent. This is no exception.

This is an excellent, emotionally challenging production. The show deals with teen self worth and the desire to be seen as an individual in a world that doesn't seem to care.
