About this show

THE END OF THE WORLD IS NIGH! Oops, too late. BOOM! Who could see that coming? Join us, The Creative Martyrs: ukulele-plucking, kazoo-humming, cello-strumming, storytelling, singing and dancing vaudevillian cabaret duo, in building a new world from the ashes. Satire is dead, long live satire, a little hindsight prescience is all we need to make sense of what once was the new future. 'Among the most compelling cabaret performers at the Fringe... elegant in delivery but blunt in their assertions. Social critique is served neat, or on the rocks of obviously absurd irony’ (Time Out).

  • As you might expect for the end of the world, it’s a bit of a darker vibe than usual, but it’s still a funny, captivating and intellectual performance that leaves you smiling.
