About this show
A raw, work-in-progress sharing from two-time Fringe First winner Javaad Alipoor, America’s Kingdoms is his first return to the Fringe, since multi-media smash Things Hidden Since the Foundation of the World. Part satire, part fictional documentary, part surreal journey through the oil fields of Latin America and the Middle East, America’s Kingdoms is a show about the oil industry, emergent technology and what it might mean to escape the past. This is a chance to see a brand new piece of work from a legendary Fringe company as a part of Shedinburgh.
