About this show

Join a daughter and her mother as they retrace their ancestors' journey across Europe. Peeling back the generational layers, travelling into the past from Northern Ireland, to France to their roots in Italy. Award-winning film maker Alessandra Celesia takes her cinematic work on stage for the first time with documentary footage from the duos pilgrimage, accompanied by a live electronic score. Raw and deeply honest, Aliens pushes the boundaries of visual story telling in this performative documentary that will connect theatre and film lovers alike to the quiet, enduring moments of families alienated across borders.
